About Us
Background
The Pennsylvania Dairy Stakeholders began in 1995 with a committee of dairy industry leaders, the Pennsylvania Secretary of Agriculture, and the Dean of Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences.
Since dairying represents the largest segment of Pennsylvania's agricultural economy, the committee recognized the need to keep it vibrant and strong, enabling dairy producers to be profitable and successful.
The Pennsylvania Dairy Stakeholders is organized to reach out to all segments of the dairy industry, allowing an opportunity for interaction and to address ongoing concerns. The Stakeholders' leadership is committed to helping Pennsylvania's dairy industry continue its national leadership role. For more background on the organization, read our Annual Report.
